Barbie as Cleopatra

I received the latest Barbie Collector catalog in the mail today. The Barbie Doll as Cleopatra is on the cover and I may want to add her to my collection but I want to see her in real life before spending $100. I have plans to redress other dolls in her attire.

If you already own this Barbie or have seen the actual doll, let us know what you think of it. Thanks. Smooches...

I just wish I didn't like that face so much. She's pretty fabulous, isn't she?

Tho promotional photos are always too good comparing with the real toy. Anyway, I really don't like the shoes and don't think there weren't high heels in ancient Egypt era.

This is one amazing Barbie. I don't regret the $100 spent on this one bit.

I'm so skeptical! What is her hair like? Is it Egyptian at all? She's gorgeous, but is this going to be like Medusa, where you have to cut her clothes to get her out of it? I can't wait to hear what you think when you see her.

I bought this one for my daughter.
Its great to mix history with toys as it gives the kids education while having fun. I hope i can find a geisha style Barbie for her next.

NOTE: I do not represent all of these photos as my own; these are photos of Barbie and other dolls that I find to be fabulous! If you are the actual photographer and would like to be credited, send me an e-mail.
